- Oh please the US has been supplying the Rebels(Al Qaeda) from the get go we have even sent Ex Generals there. retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely traveled with a team to Syria to meet with anti-government opposition leaders and gather information on a bloody conflict that has killed thousands.
